বুংনাং প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্রের এক নার্সিং কর্মীর বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ, দ্রুত ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার দাবি সংক্রান্ত বিবৃতি!
শ্রীপুর গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের বাসিন্দা গোপিকা কান্ত দত্ত আজ, ২ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৬, উত্তর ত্রিপুরার মুখ্য স্বাস্থ্য আধিকারিক (Chief Medical Officer) এবং রোগী কল্যাণ সমিতির (Rogi Kalyan Samiti), বুংনাং প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্রে, শ্রীপুর, ধর্মনগর, উত্তর ত্রিপুরার চেয়ারম্যানের কাছে একটি লিখিত অভিযোগ জমা দিয়েছেন।
অভিযোগে সম্প্রতি বুংনাং প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্রের এক নার্সিং কর্মী রুমা বারুয়া-র বিরুদ্ধে শ্রীপুর গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত এলাকার একবাসিন্দার সাথে ঘটে যাওয়া একটি গুরুতর ঘটনার বিষয়টি তুলে ধরা হয়েছে। অভিযোগ অনুযায়ী, ৩০ আগস্ট ২০২৬ বিকেল প্রায় ৩টা ৩০ মিনিটে রোগী শ্রীমতি চৈতি চক্রবর্তী-কে হাসপাতাল থেকে ছেড়ে দেওয়ার পর টুকটুকে বসাকে কেন্দ্র করে উনার পুত্রবধু শ্রীমতি জয়শ্রী কর-এর সঙ্গে ওই নার্সিং কর্মীর কথা কাটাকাটি হয়।
জয়শ্রী করের অভিযোগ অনুযায়ী, ওই সময় তাঁর সঙ্গে খারাপ ব্যবহার করা হয়, গালিগালাজ করা হয় এবং তাঁকে স্যান্ডেল দিয়ে মারা হয়। এছাড়াও একটি বাঁশের লাঠি নিয়ে তাঁকে মারার জন্য এগিয়ে আসার অভিযোগও করা হয়েছে।
এই ঘটনার বিষয়ে গোপিকা কান্ত দত্ত সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষের কাছে দ্রুত তদন্ত করে প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার দাবি জানিয়েছেন। তিনি অভিযোগ করেছেন যে, এ ধরনের ঘটনা নাকি আগেও একাধিকবার ঘটেছে। তাই বিষয়টি গুরুত্ব দিয়ে দেখে আগের ঘটনাগুলিও খতিয়ে দেখার জন্য তিনি কর্তৃপক্ষের কাছে আবেদন জানিয়েছেন।
গোপিকা কান্ত দত্তের দাবি, রোগী ও তাঁদের পরিবারের সদস্যদের সঙ্গে যাতে কোনও ধরনের দুর্ব্যবহার বা অনভিপ্রেত ঘটনা না ঘটে, তার জন্য প্রশাসনের পক্ষ থেকে প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া জরুরি।
তিনি সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষের কাছে অবিলম্বে বিষয়টি গুরুত্ব সহকারে বিবেচনা করে নিরপেক্ষ তদন্ত এবং অভিযোগ সত্য প্রমাণিত হলে নিয়ম অনুযায়ী যথাযথ ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার জন্য আবেদন জানিয়েছেন।

Sri. Gopika Kanta Dutta, a resident of Sripur Gram Panchayat, today, 2 September 2026, submitted a written complaint to the Chief Medical Officer, North Tripura, and the Chairman, Rogi Kalyan Samiti, Bungnung Primary Health Centre, Sripur, Dharmanagar, North Tripura.
The complaint brings to notice a serious incident involving Ruma Barua, a nursing staff member of Bungnung Primary Health Centre, and a resident of the Sripur Gram Panchayat area. According to the complaint, on 30 August 2026 at around 3:30 p.m., after patient Smt. Chaiti Chakraborty was discharged from the hospital, an argument took place between her daughter-in-law, Smt. Jayasree Kar, and the nursing staff member over seating in a Tuk Tuk.
According to Jayasree Kar's complaint, she was treated badly, abused, and hit with a sandal. It was also alleged that the nursing staff member approached her with a bamboo stick with the intention of beating her.
Regarding this incident, Gopika Kanta Dutta has requested the concerned authorities to conduct a prompt inquiry and take necessary action. He has also alleged that several similar incidents have reportedly occurred in the past. Therefore, he has requested the authorities to take the matter seriously and also look into the previous incidents.
